2026 MONOPOLY® Game At McDonald’s Official Rules
(the “Official Rules”)
No purchase is necessary to play or win a prize. A purchase will not improve chances of winning. To participate in the Game (defined below) and claim any prize won, eligible participants must have or download the McDonald’s app (the “McDonald’s App”), opt in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards, register for the Game in the McDonald’s App and complete all of the other Participation Requirements described in Rule 3 below.
Each winner (and any minor winner’s parent or legal guardian for themself and on behalf of the minor) may be required to participate in the prize fulfillment process and sign documentation, such as a release, as more fully detailed below.
By participating, you (and, if you are an Eligible Minor as defined in Rule 2, your parent or legal guardian) unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor (defined in Rule 1), which shall be final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Game. These Official Rules are a contract. Without limitation, this contract includes a limitation of your rights and remedies. As more fully detailed below, you agree that all disputes associated with the Game will be decided by binding arbitration and you and Sponsor hereby waive the right to assert claims in any class or representative action (refer to Rule 14).
Rule 1. Game Overview.
2026 Monopoly Game At McDonald’s (the “Game”) is sponsored by McDonald’s USA, LLC (“Sponsor”). During the Game Period (defined below), eligible participants (each, a “Participant” or “you”) can win food (a “Food Prize”) or MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points with a winning Game Piece (defined below), try to collect sets of Monopoly properties to win prizes in the Collect to Win portion of the Game and play for a chance to win other prizes in the instant-win “Chance Card Game” in the McDonald’s App. Refer to Rule 2 and Rule 7.C. for full eligibility details.
To play the Game during the Game Period, obtain a Game Piece by purchasing an Eligible Menu Item (while supplies last). Refer to Rule 4.A.(1) for a description of Eligible Menu Items that include a Game Piece. You can also obtain a Game Piece without a purchase by following the instructions in Rule 4.A.(2) below (while supplies last). You can earn a bonus Chance Card Game play (defined below) for each Eligible Menu Item ordered (during the Game Period, while supplies last) via Mobile Order & Pay (pickup or delivery) or when using your MyMcDonald’s Rewards code while ordering – but ONLY IF you register for the Game in the McDonald’s App before ordering. A bonus Chance Card Game play is valid for one play in the Chance Card Game and will be automatically added to your My Game Account (defined below).
Once you have a Game Piece, peel it, register for the Game in the McDonald’s App (if you are not already registered) and use the McDonald’s App to scan or enter the Game Code (defined below) on your Game Piece and thereby claim any property collected, prize won or Chance Card Game play, all by the dates detailed below. You may scan/enter the Game Codes for up to eight Game Pieces in your My Game Account each Day (measured in Eastern Time and defined below).
Once you scan/enter a Code for a Chance Card Game play, you will be taken to the “Chance” section within the McDonald’s App; then, follow any instructions to complete the Chance Card Game play. (Note that the “play” animated experience(s) presented will not determine whether you win a prize; all prizes in the Chance Card Game are time seeded and winning is determined by what time you begin a play.) You may play the Chance Card Game up to eight times per Day. Unused plays in the Chance Card Game may be played on subsequent days (up to eight per day) until 11:59:59 p.m. LT (defined below) on November 8, 2026.
Refer to Rule 3 below in these Official Rules for full instructions on how to download and use the McDonald’s App for this Game.
Except as otherwise specifically stated in these Official Rules, all times mentioned in these Official Rules are local time (“Local Time” or “LT”), which refers to the time of day at the location of a particular Participant in the Territory. The “Game Period” begins on October 6, 2026, at 12:00:00 a.m. LT and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 1, 2026, while Game Pieces last. (Eligible Participants will have the opportunity to pre-register to play the Game as early as September 22, 2026. However, game play (“Game Play”) does not start until the Game Period begins.) Earning of bonus Chance Card Game plays on qualifying purchases (as described in Rule 4.B.) is also available only during the Game Period. Game Pieces available on packaging for Eligible Menu Items (listed in Rule 4.A.(1)) that are not distributed before the end of the Game Period may continue to be distributed until exhausted or 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 22, 2026 (whichever occurs first). Participants who receive a Game Piece after the Game Period may continue to scan/enter Game Codes from Game Pieces in the McDonald’s App to claim prizes and collect Monopoly property pieces (and, if applicable, claim any prizes potentially won) until 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 22, 2026.
The Chance Card Game ends at 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 8, 2026.
As described above, you may scan/enter up to eight Game Codes from Game Pieces into your My Game Account per Day and may play the Chance Card Game up to eight times per Day (“Daily Limit”). Please note that, unlike other aspects of Game play, for these purposes a “Day” is measured in Eastern Time (“ET”) and is defined as a 24-hour period from 12:00:00 a.m. ET to 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
The clock for the server(s) hosting the Monopoly Game within the McDonald’s App will be the official timekeeper for the purposes of this Game.
Rule 2. Who Can Play/Win.
A. Who is Eligible.
The Game is open only to individuals who are residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia (the “Territory”) who are 18 years of age or older on the day of participation and who have completed the Participation Requirements (refer to Rule 3). An eligible Participant who is at least 18 years of age but has not reached the age of majority in their state of residence (an “Eligible Minor”) may require a parent or legal guardian to claim a prize. The Game is void where prohibited.
Note: If any Participant is determined or reasonably suspected by Sponsor or the Redemption Center (defined below) to be participating or attempting to participate in the Game with more than one McDonald’s App account and/or more than one My Game Account registration, that individual may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, be disqualified, have any prizes forfeited (including the cancellation of any prizes automatically added to a McDonald’s App account(s) in question) and that individual will be prohibited from any further Game play. They may also, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, be prohibited from participating in any future game or other promotion that Sponsor may offer and/or may have their McDonald’s App account closed.
B. Who is Not Eligible.
Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate in, or to win a prize in, the Game: (a) any person who, on or after April 1, 2026, was or is a director, officer, employee, member, manager or franchisee of Sponsor or its parent, subsidiaries or affiliated companies; (b) any director, officer, employee, representative or agent of any other Game Entity (defined in Rule 11) who is or was involved in the development, production or distribution of the Game or materials for or related to this Game (provided that, for clarity, all directors, officers, employees and representatives of the administrator and the Redemption Center (defined below) are ineligible to participate in the Game); (c) any director, officer, employee, representative or agent of any advertising or promotional agencies, service agencies or independent contractors of Sponsor who is or was involved in any way with the development, production or distribution of the Game or materials for or related to this Game; (d) any other individual involved in the development, production or distribution of the Game or materials for or related to this Game or provision of services related to this Game; (e) any person who is or purports to be an immediate family member (defined as spouse, dependent for federal income tax purposes, parent, siblings, children or step-, biological, foster, in-law or adoptive parents, siblings or children of) or who resides or is domiciled in the same household as, any person in any of the preceding categories.
Further Note: Notwithstanding the eligibility restrictions set out above, the directors, officers and employees of a Prize Partner (and any person who is or purports to be an immediate family member (as described immediately above), or who resides or is domiciled in the same household as such person) can participate in the Game but are not eligible to receive and may not claim any prize provided by the Prize Partner for which they work.
C. To be Eligible to Win.
Winning any prize requires that the potential winner of the prize is, and remains, in compliance with these Official Rules. Until a potential winner is verified to be eligible and in compliance with these Official Rules, the potential winner is, and will remain, a potential prize winner, unless the potential winner is disqualified for not complying with the Official Rules and/or not being eligible to participate in the Game (refer to Rule 10). Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any potential winner who Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines is not permitted by law to receive a prize. Sponsor reserves the right to refrain from conducting any advertising or publicity associated with a winner for any reason.
Rule 3. McDonald’s App, McDonald’s App Registration, Opt In To MyMcDonald’s Rewards And Registration For Game Required.
In order to fully participate in the Game and/or claim any prizes won, eligible Participants must (if not already done): (A) download (or update) the current McDonald’s App; (B) register for the App; (C) opt in to the MyMcDonald’s Rewards Program; and (D) register for the Game (collectively, the “Participation Requirements”). All of this must be done in advance of placing a qualifying order to earn a bonus Chance Card Game play (defined below) with qualifying purchase.
A. Download the Current McDonald’s App.
Participants can download and install the McDonald’s App on their eligible Mobile Device (refer to Rule 5). The McDonald’s App is free. Data rates may apply. Use of the McDonald’s App is subject to the Terms & Conditions for McDonald’s Online Services and the McDonald’s Privacy Statement. Any use of the McDonald’s App in violation of the Terms & Conditions for McDonald’s Online Services may be deemed a violation of these Official Rules.
B. Register for the McDonald’s App.
Once you have downloaded the McDonald’s App, if not already registered, follow the in-app prompts to complete the registration process for the McDonald’s App. You must use an email address that is valid and that you currently have access to, because the email address that you use to register for the McDonald’s App will automatically be used as your email address with respect to the Game. Once registered for the McDonald’s App, your email address cannot be changed (except with regard to designating an email address for receipt of certain prizes) and any prize-related emails will be sent to that email address. Note: There is a limit of one McDonald’s App account per Participant and one Participant per McDonald’s App account.
Note: Your McDonald’s App account may be linked to an @privaterelay.appleid.com email address or a functionally similar proxy email address provided by another email masking, relay or alias service (“Masking Service”) that is designed to forward emails sent to the proxy email address to your designated destination email address. Tap on the Game tile, go to the menu and click on My Account to verify the email address associated with your McDonald’s App account and My Game Account. Neither Sponsor, nor any other Game Entity, is responsible for any delay or non-receipt of Game-related emails (including, without limitation, prize delivery emails) due to your use of a Masking Service (including, without limitation, misconfiguration or malfunction of such Masking Service) or any filtering by your email service provider for any reason of emails forwarded to your designated email address by your Masking Service.
C. Opt in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards & Deals (“MyMcDonald’s Rewards”).
Opting in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards is free. If not already opted in, to opt in, open the McDonald’s App, click “More” in the bottom menu, then “Profile,” then “MyMcDonald’s Rewards” and then toggle the button to “Opt in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards & Deals”. When you are opted in, the toggle will be set to the “on” position. When you are not opted in, the toggle will be set to the “off” position.
D. Register for the Game.
Navigate to the home screen of the McDonald’s App, click on the Game banner and follow the prompts to create your Game profile (“My Game Account”) by providing the required information and agreeing to all applicable terms — including, without limitation, these Official Rules and McDonald’s Privacy Statement; then click the submission button. Your My Game Account will sync with your McDonald’s App account, and each time you return to the McDonald’s App and tap on the Game promotional banner, your My Game Account will be synced with your McDonald’s App account. A record of all played and claimed Game Codes (defined below), if any, will be maintained in your My Game Account.
Rule 4. How To Play.
To play the Game, you will need to obtain one or more official game piece(s) for this Game (“Game Piece”) during the Game Period (while supplies last).
A. Obtaining a Game Piece.
(1) Receive a Game Piece by Purchasing an Eligible Menu Item:
An eligible Participant can receive a Game Piece by visiting a participating McDonald’s restaurant in the Territory (or ordering from such a restaurant via delivery) during the Game Period and purchasing one of the following items (each an “Eligible Menu Item”), while supplies of specially marked packaging/game piece cards last.
One Game Piece (refer to “D.” of this Rule 4 for types of Game Pieces available) will be affixed to packaging for the following Eligible Menu Items (or provided via a separate game piece card provided with purchase at some restaurants):
These specially marked packages will be available for the Eligible Menu Item during the hours when that menu item is served, while supplies last. The hours during which particular menu items are served vary. Once the supply of specially marked packaging for any item is exhausted, it will not be replenished.
Note: Seasonal and limited-time-only menu items that might otherwise fall into one of the categories above are excluded and do not qualify as an Eligible Menu Item.
Note also: We suggest you check your order to make certain each Eligible Menu Item has a Game Piece before you leave the counter or Drive Thru.
(2) Receive a Game Piece Without Making a Purchase:
You can receive one Game Piece (which also earns you one bonus Chance Card Game play) when you mail in a Request (defined below) in a postage-paid (not metered) outer envelope to: 2026 Monopoly Game at McDonald’s, PO Box 4006, Dept S9851, Grand Rapids, MN 55730-4006. Your Request must be mailed no sooner than September 22, 2026, and must actually be received at the above address no later than November 2, 2026. Within the outer envelope there must be one self-addressed envelope that uses the Participant’s complete mailing address and sufficient return postage (first-class stamp; not metered) (each is a “Request”). Vermont residents may omit return postage. Limit one Request per outer envelope. Any additional Requests will not be honored or returned. Both the mailing and return addresses on the exterior envelope must be legible. Any Request that fails in any way to comply with the requirements set out in this paragraph or that are not mailed separately bearing sufficient, non-metered postage will not be honored. While supplies last, one Game Piece will be mailed in response to each Request that complies with these requirements.
Please Note: When the Participant receives a Game Piece through this method specifically and enters the Game Code from that Game Piece in their My Game Account, they will also get one bonus Chance Card Game play (defined in Rule 4.B. below) deposited in the Participant’s My Game Account, that Participant can use to play the Chance Card Game. As described above, the Chance Card Game ends at 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 8, 2026, and any Game Piece received through this method that is entered into your My Game Account after that time will not result in earning a bonus Chance Card Game play.
B. Get a Bonus Chance Card Game play.
If you have opted in to Rewards and registered for the Game, then, when you purchase an Eligible Menu Item (list in Rule 4.A.(1)) during the Game Period (ends at 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 1, 2026) and either associate your Rewards code with your order or order using Mobile Order & Pay in the McDonald’s App, you will automatically receive one bonus play in the Chance Card Game (“bonus Chance Card Game play”) in your My Game Account in the McDonald’s App for each Eligible Menu Item purchased. Use of the bonus Chance Card Game play is subject to the Daily Limit.
C. Play/Redeem Your Game Pieces/Game Codes.
When a Participant peels a Game Piece, it will reveal one of four types of Game Piece, as detailed in “D.” of this Rule 4. To claim what was revealed, the Participant must scan/enter the unique alphanumeric code found on the Game Piece (“Game Code”) in the McDonald’s App (subject to the Daily Limit). To do so, open the McDonald’s App, click on the Monopoly banner, then click the “Add Code” button and scan/enter the Game Code from your Game Piece.
As described in Rule 8, potential winners may be required to submit Game Pieces for verification. Please keep your Game Pieces after scanning/entering them in the McDonald’s App!
Note: In the event a power outage or similar interruption occurs once you’ve added a Game Code, check in your My Game Account to see if the Game Code play was received. If it was received and played, you will see the outcome of that Game Play. If there is no record of that Game Code, reenter the Game Code to complete the play.
Tap “My Game Account” to view all of your Game Codes/Game Pieces entered and prizes claimed. Prizes not yet claimed will be found in the Claim Prizes section until November 22, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. LT.
D. Game Piece Types.
There are four different types of Game Piece that a Participant could receive. Note: The Game Piece should be removed from the packaging as soon as possible.
- Mediterranean Avenue (#901) and Baltic Avenue (#902);
- Oriental Avenue (#903), Vermont Avenue (#904) and Connecticut Avenue (#905);
- St. Charles Place (#906), States Avenue (#907) and Virginia Avenue (#908);
- New York Avenue (#909), Tennessee Avenue (#910) and St. James Place (#911);
- Kentucky Avenue (#912), Indiana Avenue (#913) and Illinois Avenue (#914);
- Atlantic Avenue (#915), Ventnor Avenue (#916) and Marvin Gardens (#917);
- Pacific Avenue (#918), North Carolina Avenue (#919) and Pennsylvania Avenue (#920);
- Park Place (#921) and Boardwalk (#922);
- Reading Railroad (#923), Pennsylvania Railroad (#924), B. & O. Railroad (#925) and Short Line (#926); or
- Water Works (#927) and Electric Company (#928).
A Participant can tap on “My Properties” found in the Game menu of the McDonald’s App and on the navigation bar, to see the Collect to Win Property Pieces they have collected. If a Participant collects all of the Collect to Win Property Pieces required to complete a Winning Combination, that Participant is the potential winner of the Collect to Win Prize identified on the applicable Collect to Win Property Piece and described below in these Official Rules, subject to verification of (i) the Collect to Win Property Pieces, (ii) the potential Winning Combination and (iii) the Participant’s compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor will not honor and is not responsible for any combination of Collect to Win Property Pieces that is incomplete or any purported Collect to Win Property Piece which is fraudulent, obtained by impermissible means or otherwise not a genuine, original Collect to Win Property Piece. Upon scanning/entering a Game Code for a Collect to Win Property Piece in the McDonald’s App, the Game may present an animation displaying the property collected and its place in the applicable Winning Combination. This animation is for entertainment purposes only and the actual Collect to Win Property Piece you have collected will be as set forth on the Game Piece and within your My Properties list.
(4) Chance Card Game Piece: A Chance Card Game Piece provides a Participant with one play in the digital instant-win Chance Card Game (subject to the Daily Limit and while the Chance Card Game is available). There are 128,118,375 Chance Card Game Pieces available in the Game. The odds of receiving a Chance Card Game Piece are approximately 1 in 5. Once you scan/enter the Game Code from a Chance Card Game Piece, you will immediately be brought into the Chance Card Game flow. However, if you choose not to play at that time, you can find your play in the “Chance section” of the navigation bar or in the Game menu. When you’re ready to play the Chance Card Game, open your McDonald’s App, click on the Monopoly banner, navigate to “CHANCE” in either the menu or navigation bar. You will be presented with an animation depicting a game of chance. Click on the “Chance Card Game Play” animation to begin play. You may also choose to play your Chance Card Game play later, at any point before November 8, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. LT, subject to the Daily Limit. The outcome of the Chance Card Game play is dependent on the time at which you click on the selected animation to begin your Chance Card Game play and – if you are a winner – you will be awarded the Chance Card Game Prize that was seeded for the time when you selected to play; or, if applicable, you will instead be awarded a Chance Card Game Prize that (i) was seeded in advance of the time when you selected play and (ii) remains unawarded as of the time you selected play. If you are not a winner for a given Chance Card Game play, you will be presented with a screen at the end of the gameplay animation indicating as much.
E. Daily Limit:
As described in Rule 1, there is a maximum of eight Game Code entries and eight Chance Card Game plays per Day (based on ET).
F. No Account Sharing; No Unauthorized Transfer of Game Materials:
You may not use more than one McDonald’s App account to participate in the Game; you may not participate in the Game using someone else’s McDonald’s App account (even if you are otherwise eligible); and you may not share or permit another person to use your McDonald’s App account (on their own or in concert with you) to participate in the Game (even if they are otherwise eligible).
The legal name of any individual making any prize or other Game-related claim must match the name provided when registering for the applicable My Game Account in the McDonald’s App. Any change or inconsistency is subject to review. Sponsor may request supporting documentation, including copies of a government-issued ID or other identifying documents, to confirm that the registration of a My Game Account is the same individual claiming any prize won through such account, as well as such Participant’s eligibility to participate in the Game.
In the event that Sponsor or the Redemption Center determines or reasonably suspects that any Participant has violated any of the above restrictions, violated any other provision of these Official Rules, attempted to participate in the Game in excess of the Daily Limits established herein or otherwise acted in a fraudulent or deceptive manner in an effort to obtain a prize, that Participant – and any other party benefiting from that Participant’s actions – may be disqualified, may have any prize won forfeited and may be prohibited from participating in any future game or promotion offered by Sponsor.
Any transfer, whether by way of sale, loan, gift, handover or any other manner whatsoever, of any Game materials, including without limitation, a Game Piece or Game Code or access to a My Game Account (“Game Materials”), by an ineligible person to an eligible person is strictly prohibited. Transfer may be permitted between eligible Participants solely as follows: (i) Except an Instant Win Prize that automatically deposits in the Rewards & Deals section of the Participant’s McDonald’s App account, any prize potentially won by an Eligible Minor must be claimed by that Participant’s parent/legal guardian on the Eligible Minor’s behalf; or (ii) if a Participant who is the potential winner of a prize wishes to transfer the prize or the related potential winning Game Piece, or potential Winning Combination, as the case may be, to another person, subject to these Official Rules, that transfer must be authorized expressly in writing by Sponsor’s redemption center for this Game (“Redemption Center”) before the transfer is made, and such authorization may be granted or withheld in Sponsor’s sole discretion. A Participant must make any request for such authorization in writing, must sign that request and must mail the written and signed request along with their Game Materials when submitted to the Redemption Center. You may not claim a prize in someone else’s name or allow any other person to claim a prize won through your McDonald’s App account.
Rule 5. How To Download And Manage The McDonald’s App: Device Requirements; Deleting An Account.
A. Device Requirements:
To participate in the Game, you must have a “Mobile Device” which is a qualifying iOS or Android Device that is capable of running the latest version of the McDonald’s App.
You must have the latest version of the McDonald’s App for Android and/or iOS installed on your Mobile Device. In the App Store, compatibility requires iOS 15.0 or later. In Google Play, compatibility requires Android 9.0 or later. Compatibility is subject to change. Please refer to current compatibility under the information details for the McDonald’s App in the App Store and Google Play.
Using a screen resolution lower than 360px wide may result in a Participant not being able to participate in the Game.
While all efforts are made to support current operating systems and devices, new operating systems and devices may not be supported if brought to market after the development of the Game. Sponsor is not responsible for any operating system or device supporting issues.
B. Deleted Accounts:
Your McDonald’s App account is your identifier for the Game. If you delete your McDonald’s App account during the Game, you will lose all access to your McDonald’s App account and My Game Account, including but not limited to your Game Play, your Collect to Win Property Piece tracking, any prizes awarded and not redeemed and any banked plays for the Chance Card Game, and any of the foregoing cannot be recovered.
Rule 6. Game Prizes/Odds Of Winning/ARVs.
Potential winning Game Pieces are distributed on a generally random basis across the universe of Game Pieces. It is planned that approximately 640,591,900 total Game Pieces will be available to be distributed during the Game Period. The overall odds in the Game of a Participant winning an Instant Win Prize (mostly Food) as of the outset of the Game are 1 in 5, based on the planned number of Game Pieces.
Note:
- The approximate numbers of Prizes available to be won in the Game, and the odds of winning Prizes, as set out in these Official Rules, are stated as of the outset of the Game. The numbers of Prizes available to be won will diminish as the Game progresses, and the odds of winning Prizes will change as Prizes are claimed.
- The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Prize is stated as of August 2026. ARVs may fluctuate during the course of the Game based on a number of factors, including market conditions. (In no case will any winner receive the difference between a Prize ARV as stated in these Official Rules and the actual value of the Prize upon award.)
A. Game Piece Food Prizes:
There are approximately 122,458,639 Food Prizes available in the Game to be instantly won through collection of a Food Prize Game Piece. The overall odds of winning such a Food Prize as of the outset of the Game are approximately 1 in 5.23, based on the number of Game Pieces, which are available to be distributed during the Game Period. Each Food Prize Game Piece will provide the winner with a selection of at least two food items from which the winner can select one. The odds of winning a specified Food Prize, as of the outset of the Game, and the ARV of each specified Food Prize, are outlined below.
(1) A Small Soft Drink, ARV: $1.49; or a Small Premium Roast Coffee, ARV: $1.59. Approximately 14,020,999 Prizes are available to be won. The odds of winning this Prize are: 1 in 46.
(2) An Apple Pie, ARV: $1.89; or a Small Fries, ARV: $2.59. Approximately 25,855,223 Prizes are available to be won. The odds of winning this Prize are: 1 in 25.
(3) Two Chocolate Chip Cookies, ARV: $2.29; or a Mini McFlurry®, ARV: $2.69. Approximately 6,560,300 Prizes are available to be won. The odds of winning this Prize are: 1 in 98.
(4) A Vanilla Cone, ARV: $2.29; or a Small Fries, ARV: $2.59. Approximately 20,581,275 Prizes are available to be won. The odds of winning this Prize are: 1 in 32.
(5) A McChicken® Sandwich, ARV: $2.69; or a Double Cheeseburger Sandwich, ARV: $3.69. Excludes Hot ‘n Spicy McChicken® Sandwich. Approximately 15,435,962 Prizes are available to be won. The odds of winning this Prize are: 1 in 42.

Rule 7. General Information For Prize Claim.
A. Game Piece Verification: You must keep any original potential winning Physical Game Piece(s) and/or the Verification Code that results from a bonus Chance Card Game play in your My Game Account. For a Collect to Win Prize, you will need to submit the Game Pieces in order to claim the applicable prize. For the purposes of making a valid prize claim, no entry of a Game Code in the McDonald’s App when you tap on the Monopoly promotional banner is, or shall be accepted as, proof of the existence, the possession or the ownership, at any time, by a Participant of any Game Piece(s) that bear a Game Code entered by a Participant in the McDonald’s App.
The first Participant to validly enter a particular Game Code in their My Game Account in the McDonald’s App (as described above) will be the only Participant who can make a valid prize claim using that particular Game Code.
B. Forfeiture: If, for any reason, a prize is forfeited, then the applicable prize will not be awarded, and the potential prize winner will not have any claim against the Game Entities or against any other person, firm or corporation with respect to the applicable prize or any matter related to the Game.
C. Eligibility Requirement for Claiming a Prize: In order to claim a prize in the Game, a Participant must be the age of majority in their state of residence as of the date the Game Play is submitted or must be the parent/legal guardian of an Eligible Minor who is a potential prize winner.
If a potential winner is an Eligible Minor in their state of residence (i.e., AL, MS or NE), the applicable prize will be awarded in the name of that winner’s parent/legal guardian who executes all documents and agrees to all obligations and undertakings of the potential (and of an actual) prize winner, both on behalf of themselves and the Eligible Minor. If the parent/legal guardian does not meet these conditions, the prize will be forfeited, the applicable prize will not be awarded in the Game and the prize claimant will not have any claim against the Game Entities or against any other person, firm or corporation in respect of the applicable prize or the Game, or any matter related to the Game.

Rule 8. The “Prize Claim Process”.
Note: Only the legitimate owner of a McDonald’s App account and My Game Account can claim a Prize potentially won through such account.
Also Note: Some prizes may require a winner to complete the redemption process on a Prize Partner’s site or app. In those cases, redemption of the Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the Prize Partner, which you agree to as a condition of receiving the prize.
A. McDonald’s Food Prizes:
Food Prize Claim: You must claim any Food Prize in your McDonald’s App, and you must be opted in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards. Physical Food Prize Game Pieces will not be accepted at a McDonald’s restaurant. A Food Prize must be redeemed via the McDonald’s App by 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 22, 2026. When you enter the Game Code from a Physical Game Piece in your My Game Account to claim a Food Prize, or you play the Chance Card Game, and you receive a Food Prize, then a “Deal” redeemable for the Food Prize will automatically be deposited in the Rewards & Deals section of your McDonald’s App within approximately twenty-four hours. Once deposited into a Participant’s Rewards & Deals section, the Food Prize can be redeemed in accordance with the Food Prize Terms immediately below.
Food Prize Terms: Valid only at participating McDonald’s restaurants in the Territory. Food item availability varies by restaurant and by time of day. Prize valid for one use only. Only one Food Prize redemption is permitted per Participant per visit to a participating McDonald’s restaurant, and it is not valid in combination with any other deals, offers, coupons or promotions. All visits to the same restaurant within a two-hour period are deemed to constitute a single visit. Some participating McDonald’s restaurants may not offer a particular food item which is a Food Prize in the Game, or for some other reason that item may not be available. Delivery orders are subject to a delivery fee, service fee, small order fee (when applicable) and any taxes and fees required by law. Prize cannot be reproduced, transferred or used by anyone else. Valid during hours when the applicable Food Prize item is served at the applicable restaurant. No substitutions. May not be valid for custom orders. Extra charges may apply for additional or substituted ingredients/toppings or other customizations. All Food Prizes exclude any limited-time or seasonal items that may otherwise fall into the menu category of a particular Food Prize option.
B. MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prizes:
MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prize Claim: Active MyMcDonald’s Rewards account required. A MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prize must be claimed via the McDonald’s App by 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 22, 2026. When you enter the Game Code from a Physical Game Piece or you play the Chance Card Game and receive MyMcDonald’s Rewards points (the “MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prize”), the MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prize will automatically be deposited in the Rewards & Deals section of your McDonald’s App account within approximately twenty-four hours.
MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prize Terms: Points expire on the first day of the month after the sixth month from the date such points were earned, except where prohibited by law. Points are not assignable or transferrable between accounts or otherwise, and points cannot be combined across accounts, regardless of who registered the account. Limit one redemption per order. Use of MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points is subject to the terms and conditions in the Terms and Conditions for McDonald’s Online Services or in the McDonald’s App.
C. Claim a Cash Prize up to $100:You must complete the Prize Claim Process by 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 22, 2026. To begin the Prize Claim Process, tap on “Claim Prize” in your My Game Account or click on “Claim Prize” in the navigation bar. All cash prizes up to $100 will be payable by e-transfer via PayPal, Venmo or Zelle® in U.S. Dollars by the Redemption Center. If you are not currently registered, you will need to register with PayPal, Venmo or Zelle account before you claim a cash prize. During the claim process, you will need to indicate whether you wish to receive the Prize via PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. You must also correctly provide your first and last name and email address connected to your selected payment account. Any typo or other inaccuracy in the payment account information you provide may result in the forfeiture of your prize. There is no financial charge for any of the payment methods when standard delivery is used. Once payment is completed, no changes can be made. A cash prize over $100 will be payable via check or wire transfer.
D. Claim a Non-Food Prize $25 and Under (except the $20 Uber Eats e-Gift Code, $25 DoorDash eGiftcard and the $15, $20 and $25 Circle K Fuel Gift Card Prizes) and the Peacock Premium 2-Month Subscription Prize: If your valid Game Play results in winning a prize valued at $25 or less (except the $20 Uber Eats e-Gift Code, $25 DoorDash eGiftcard and the $15, $20 and $25 Circle K Fuel Gift Card Prizes) or the Peacock Premium 2-Month Subscription Prize, you will receive a prize email to the email associated with your My Game Account with the redemption code and/or the website link to claim the prize directly from the Prize Partner.
E. Claim a Non-Food Prize $25.01 - $1,999 (except the Peacock Premium 2-Month Subscription Prize) and/or the $20 Uber Eats e-Gift Code, $25 DoorDash eGiftcard and the $15, $20 and $25 Circle K Fuel Gift Card Prizes: If you are a potential winner of a Non-Food Prize that has an ARV between $25.01 and $1,999 (except the Peacock Premium 2-Month Subscription Prize) or the $20 Uber Eats e-Gift Code, $25 DoorDash eGiftcard and the $15, $20 and $25 Circle K Fuel Gift Card Prizes, you must claim the prize via the McDonald’s App by 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 22, 2026. Start by selecting “Claim Prizes” in the navigation bar to follow the instructions to begin the Prize Claim Process necessary to claim the potential prize. The Participant must select “Claim Prize”; read carefully, and in full, the Privacy Policy, Official Rules and Terms & Conditions; and click “Continue”, acknowledging that they will comply with the Official Rules and Terms & Conditions. The Participant must then confirm or correct their auto-filled first name and enter their last name, phone number (including area code) and complete mailing address including apartment or suite, city, state and ZIP Code. You may elect to enter a different email address from the email address associated with your McDonald’s App Account to have your prize sent to. Any alternate email address used is for fulfillment purposes only and must belong solely to the Participant claiming the prize. If the prize claim is correctly completed, the prize claim will be verified by the Redemption Center and the prize claimant will receive an email at the email address registered in the McDonald’s App (or the different email address provided) with instructions to receive the prize at the Prize Partner’s website or at another location or via another method as noted in the instructions, or the prize will ship to the address provided during the Prize Claim Process for delivery in approximately four to six weeks.
F. Claim an Instant Win or Collect to Win Prize $2,000 and Above: You must complete the initial portion of the Prize Claim Process by 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 22, 2026. You will then be required to complete a Declaration and Release Form as described below to complete the Prize Claim Process and be eligible to receive the prize. If you are claiming a Collect to Win Prize with one or more potentially winning Physical Game Pieces, then print and return the completed Declaration and Release and the IRS W-9 Form along with your original Physical Game Piece(s) by mail to the Redemption Center for receipt by December 8, 2026.
G. Claim a Cash Prize Over $2,000:You must complete the initial in-App portion of the Prize Claim Process by 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 22, 2026. To begin the Prize Claim Process, tap on “Claim Prize” in your My Game Account or click on “Claim Prize” in the navigation bar. You will be required to complete a Declaration and Release Form as described below to complete the Prize Claim Process and be eligible to receive the prize. All prizes valued at $2,000 and higher require a Declaration and Release and an IRS W-9 Form. A potential winner (or their parent/legal guardian if winner is an Eligible Minor) will receive the prize notification/prize claim document via a Docusign email, then must complete the prize claim document via Docusign by December 8, 2026. If you are claiming a Collect to Win Prize with one or more potentially winning Physical Game Pieces, then print and return the completed Declaration and Release and the IRS W-9 Form along with your original Physical Game Piece(s) by mail to the Redemption Center for receipt by December 8, 2026. All cash prizes over $2,000 will be payable via check or wire transfer in U.S. Dollars.
H. No Printer? If you do not have a printer and are unable to download and/or print the Declaration and Release sent to you by email, tap on the button on the prize claim screen and follow the instructions to have a Declaration and Release and IRS W-9 Form mailed to you. Please submit your request for a mailed Declaration and Release as soon as possible. Regardless of when requested, the Declaration and Release and IRS W-9 Form must be completed and returned with any required Physical Game Pieces to the Redemption Center for receipt by December 8, 2026.
A potential winner must ensure that any required Game Materials are actually received by the Redemption Center by December 8, 2026. In the case of prizes that require submission of Game Materials, Participants will not be considered winners of the prizes until the Game Materials are verified by the Redemption Center.
I. Prize Verification/Notification: In addition to other Game Materials required by these Official Rules, in order for a Participant to validly claim a prize, in its sole discretion, the Redemption Center may ask a Participant to provide further documentation during the verification process. The nature and extent of such documentation shall be at the sole discretion of the Redemption Center for the purposes, among other things, of confirming the Participant’s identity, their eligibility and their compliance with these Official Rules. Without limitation, that documentation may involve proof of employment history to confirm eligibility and/or a form of government-issued photo identification (e.g., valid driver’s license). A potential prize winner may be requested to consent to a confidential background check, conducted by or through the Redemption Center, to help the Sponsor ensure that the Sponsor’s use of such Participant in advertising or publicity will not bring the Sponsor or a Prize Partner into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the Game or the Sponsor or on a Prize Partner. Sponsor reserves the right to refrain from conducting any advertising or publicity associated with any winner for any reason.
Game Materials sent by a Participant to the Redemption Center will be reviewed by the Redemption Center to verify the Participant’s compliance with the Official Rules and to verify that the Participant is making a valid prize claim. Verification for prizes valued $2,000 to $9,999 may take up to 2 to 4 weeks from the time you submit your claim. Verification for prizes valued $10,000 and higher may take up to 6 to 8 weeks from the time you submit your claim.
After the Redemption Center has completed its review of a potential prize winner’s Game Materials, the Redemption Center will then notify the Participant they are either:
(i) “not verified” as having won the applicable prize, and that the applicable prize is forfeited. In addition to any other event or situation referred to in these Official Rules which results in, or may result in, forfeiture of a prize, forfeiture of a prize will occur if the potential prize winner does not submit the original potential winning Physical Game Piece or all of the original potential winning Physical Game Pieces that comprise a Winning Combination, along with the required Game Materials for verification (when required). Note: Neither the Game Entities (including the Prize Partners) nor any other person or entity shall be liable or responsible for any failure on the part of a Participant to correctly follow, in full, the redemption instructions and procedures contained in or provided for pursuant to these Official Rules; or
(ii) “verified” as having won the applicable prize. Any potential prize winner who is verified as a winner of a prize will receive:
(a) either an email with the redemption code and/or the website link to claim the prize directly from the Prize Partner by the deadline indicated; (b) a shipment of the prize from the Prize Partner or the Redemption Center; or (c) notification of next steps concerning how to select/receive the applicable prize.
Note: If you believe you have successfully submitted a prize claim but you have not received your prize or have not heard from the Redemption Center after 8 weeks, you must contact the Redemption Center by no later than January 31, 2027, via the “Game Customer Service Contact Us form” or the phone number listed in your declaration, about the status of your prize. Failure to contact the Redemption Center by January 31, 2027, may (in Sponsor’s discretion) result in forfeiture of any prize that remains unawarded.
Rule 9. Prize Conditions/Limitations/Restrictions.
Rule 9.A. and 9.B., below, provide additional terms, conditions, requirements and details applicable to particular prizes or prize types. These Rules are in addition to—and not in limitation of—any other provisions of these Official Rules that apply to such prizes.
A. Travel Prizes:
Except where the description in these Official Rules expressly specifies otherwise, travel and other prize arrangements will be determined by Sponsor or Prize Partner (where applicable) in their discretion. Prize winner and guest(s) must travel together on the same itinerary and are solely responsible for having (and producing if/as required) any necessary travel-related documents (including valid government-issued photo ID and/or any required passport or visa and/or any properly completed and sworn parental consent form or forms) prior to departure, as well as fulfilling any/all travel and security requirements (including but not limited to any shots, medical tests or other health requirements necessary to visit certain destinations and any quarantine requirements that may be required). Each guest will be required to execute a guest release prior to the issue of any travel documents. Sponsor or the applicable Prize Partner may or may not (in their sole discretion) permit winner’s guest to be a minor for a particular prize. In the event a minor guest is permitted to participate as a guest on a prize trip or event, guest release must be executed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian. Any and all costs/fees (including, but not limited to, departure taxes or fees, inspection charges, luggage fees and the costs of transportation between winner’s home and departure airport) and expenses not expressly stated as being included in the prize description are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Any difference between the approximate retail value and the actual value of the prize will not be awarded and any difference will not be refunded. No insurance whatsoever is provided as part of the prize or furnished by the Sponsor or Prize Partner, and obtaining any insurance, such as (but not limited to) travel insurance, cancellation insurance, trip delay, health, accident or medical insurance, and property or luggage loss or other damage insurance is the sole responsibility of the prize winner and at the sole cost of the prize winner and that prize winner’s guest(s). Air travel (if provided as part of the prize) will be round-trip (originate from and end at the same airport), economy-class from and to an airport selected by Prize Partner. Reservations must be made and tickets issued prior to travel. Tickets may not be reissued once travel has commenced. Open tickets may not be issued, and stopovers are not permitted. Sponsor or Prize Partner(s) reserve the right in their respective sole discretion to designate all flight/travel particulars and route or routes (as the case may be). Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. No Game Entities will be liable for any missed opportunities or expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/travel restrictions/delay or ground transportation delay. Sponsor and/or Prize Partner make no express or implied warranties of any kind with respect to safety, or performance, of the trip/travel services package or any component thereof. If a winner (and/or the winner’s guest(s)) is/are not able to participate in any portion of a travel prize for any reason (including, without limitation, inability or unwillingness to travel on Sponsor/Prize Partner required dates and times), that prize (or the unused portion thereof) may be forfeited and will not be substituted for cash or in any other way. Hotel accommodations, if provided as part of a travel prize, will be at a hotel selected by Sponsor or Prize Partner in its sole discretion. Prize winners may be required to provide a current valid major credit card at time of hotel check-in to cover incidentals, and any and all costs, fees and expenses not expressly stated as being included in the Prize description. Restrictions and/or blackout dates may apply to some travel Prizes. Once a winner has identified a guest in accordance with the provisions of these Official Rules, that guest cannot be changed without the express consent of Sponsor and/or Prize Partner, which consent may be withheld for any reason. Each travel prize winner (and in consideration of being permitted by the Sponsor to participate in the travel prize, each guest) agrees to maintain their dress, behavior and comportment in accordance with all applicable laws and generally accepted social practices in connection with the travel related to the travel prize and in connection with participation in any prize-related event or activity. Travel prize winners and their guest(s) understand and agree that the Sponsor and, when applicable, Prize Partner has/have the right, in its/their sole discretion, to disqualify and remove a prize winner or any guest from any travel at any time if that winner or guest’s behavior at any point is uncooperative, disruptive or may or does cause damage to person, property or the reputation of the Sponsor, Prize Partner and/or any third party, or otherwise violates the policies of the Sponsor, Prize Partner or both. The prize winner is entirely and solely responsible for the behavior and comportment of their guest(s). Event/admission tickets provided as part of the Prize, if any, may be subject to their own additional terms and conditions imposed by the issuer, event organizer and/or venue operator, all as set forth on the ticket or materials provided with the ticket.
If a travel prize includes airfare, but the winner of such prize resides within one hundred and fifty miles of the prize destination, Sponsor or Prize Partner may—in its sole discretion—substitute ground transportation or a reasonable stipend to offset the cost of ground transportation in lieu of airfare and, in such case, airfare will not be awarded and winner will not receive the difference in cost between the portion of the ARV allotted for airfare and the actual cost of ground transport or the ground-transportation stipend.
Note: No travel Prize winner or any of their guest(s) may sell, transfer or dispose of any part of any travel Prize to any other person without the Sponsor’s and/or Prize Partner’s prior written consent which may be withheld in their sole discretion.
Specific travel Prizes may be subject to their own additional terms and conditions as specified in the applicable prize description (above) and below:
(1) Carnival Trip Prize Conditions. Carnival Cruise Line Gift Cards are subject to terms, conditions and restrictions imposed by Carnival Cruise Line, including but not limited to those available at Carnival Gift Card Terms. Winner must be at least twenty-one years of age, or at least eighteen years of age and a qualified member of the United States military, in order to book Cruise. If winner is under the age of twenty-one and is not a qualified Member of the United States military, winner must: (i) travel in the same stateroom as a travel companion who is at least twenty-five years of age; or (ii) travel in the same stateroom as their spouse who is at least twenty-one years of age; and in such event, the Cruise booking must be established by such travel companion or spouse (as applicable).
Winner and any guest(s)/travel companion(s) must meet all eligibility requirements to sail as described on Carnival Cruise Line’s website as of the date of departure. All Cruise travelers must have all necessary identification and/or Cruise documents (including, but not limited to, a valid passport, visa (if applicable) and all other necessary travel documents, which include any health certifications/proofs of vaccination that are required by Carnival Cruise Line and/or applicable governments/ports) required for selected Cruise. Cruise is subject at all times to the terms and conditions of Carnival Cruise Line’s Cruise Ticket Contract.
(2) Hilton Trip Prize Conditions. Travel must be completed within one year from the date the Hilton Gift Certificates are issued and cannot be redeemed on December 31 (New Year’s Eve). Reservations are subject to availability. Travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, holiday, blackout dates and other prize and travel restrictions. Each Hilton Gift Certificate is a complimentary one-night stay certificate issued by Hilton. Each certificate can be used as a form of payment for a one-night standard room rate, plus applicable taxes, at eligible Hilton properties. Hilton Gift Certificates are not valid at Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) or AutoCamp properties. Premium room types or room upgrades are not included. To redeem a Hilton Gift Certificate, you must book a reservation for a standard room at a participating Hilton location within the Hilton portfolio. Reservations must be booked directly through a Hilton booking channel. Hilton booking channels include the Hilton Website, the Hilton Honors mobile app or +1-888-4HONORS (445-8667). A valid credit card is still required for reservation confirmation. At check-in, present your physical gift certificate to the front desk for redemption. Photos or digital copies will not be accepted. Hilton gift certificates can be used at all-inclusive resorts and will cover resort fees. Hilton Gift Certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Lost or stolen gift certificates cannot be reissued. Gift certificates can be applied to reservations booked under Hilton’s 48-Hour Room Guarantee for eligible Diamond and Diamond Reserve Members. Hilton Honors Members will receive full Points, any applicable upgrades and all applicable benefits when using a Hilton gift certificate. Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth in the Prize description; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, insurance, meals, unspecified ground transportation, phone calls, baggage, gratuities, incidentals, souvenirs, gasoline, etc.) are included in the Prize and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner is responsible for any air travel, taxes and/or expenses, including applicable departure taxes or fees, inspection charges, baggage fees, security charges, personal charges while lodging, gratuities or other expenses. Prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state or other tax obligations related to the Prize. Winner and guests are responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, any necessary travel documentation (i.e., valid photo identification, visas, passports, etc.) prior to travel.
(3) Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Prize Conditions. Prize/trip is not transferrable. No cash value. Blackout dates apply: Dec. 20, 2026 - Jan. 4, 2027. Trip must be completed by Dec. 15, 2027, or Prize will be forfeited. Travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, holiday, blackout dates and other prize and travel restrictions. Travel dates are subject to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Sponsor approval. Reservations are subject to availability. Travel must be round-trip. Trip must be booked at least sixty days prior to intended departure date. If winner elects to partake in any or all portions of their Prize with fewer than the allotted number of guests or no guests, the Prize will be awarded to winner and each participating guest and any remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. All elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption. Unless child or ward of verified winner or one of the allotted guests, each guest must be eighteen years of age or older as of the date of departure and must travel on the same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. ARV of Prize may vary depending upon the points of departure, ground transportation and/or airline fare fluctuations; any difference between stated ARV and final ARV of Prize will not be awarded. Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth in the Prize description; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, insurance, meals, unspecified ground transportation, phone calls, baggage, gratuities, incidentals, souvenirs, gasoline, etc.) are included in the Prize and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner is responsible for any air travel, taxes and/or expenses, including applicable departure taxes or fees, inspection charges, baggage fees, security charges, personal charges while lodging, gratuities or other expenses. Prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state or other tax obligations related to the Prize. Winner and guests are responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, any necessary travel documentation (i.e., valid photo identification, visas, passports, etc.) prior to travel. Once issued, tickets are nontransferable and may not be reissued once travel has commenced. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Sponsor is not responsible if any element of the trip prize is delayed, postponed or canceled for any reason, in which event that portion of the prize is forfeited in its entirety and no substitution will be provided except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Open tickets may not be issued, and stopovers are not permitted.
Additional conditions and restrictions for specific attractions/experiences provided as part of the KSCVC trip Prize may apply (including minimum age and height requirements) as described in materials provided to the winner, other communications from Prize Partner or on the KSCVC Website.
(4) Universal Trip Prize Conditions. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2027. Travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, holiday, blackout dates and other trip Prize and travel restrictions. Travel dates are subject to Universal approval. Reservations are subject to availability. Trip must be booked at least sixty days prior to intended departure date. If a verified winner elects to partake in any or all portions of their trip Prize with fewer than the allotted number of guests or no guests, the trip Prize will be awarded to verified winner and each participating guest, and any remainder of the trip Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. All elements of the trip Prize must be claimed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption. If verified winner is between the ages of eighteen and twenty-one, they must be accompanied by an adult of at least twenty-one years of age in order to check into the hotel. Unless child or ward of verified winner or one of the allotted guests, each guest must be eighteen years of age or older as of the date of departure and all guests must travel on the same itinerary and at the same time as the verified winner. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Travel arrangements must be made through Universal. Travel, entertainment and theme park tickets are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified thereon. All the tickets are valid during normal operating hours only. Operating hours and availability of attractions and shows are subject to change without notice. Some special events may be separately ticketed. Universal reserves the right to change the name of all tickets. Unless otherwise noted, all tickets specifically exclude admission to special or separately ticketed “hard ticket” entertainment events at any of the theme parks, hotels or within any of the Universal CityWalk venues such as Hard Rock Live®. Verified winner and guests must comply with all venue rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of such portion of the Prize. Universal Volcano Bay water theme park will be closed for maintenance starting October 26, 2026, with a currently planned reopening on or around April 1, 2027. Dates subject to change; Winner should check the Universal Orlando Website for up-to-date reopening details. If winner chooses to travel at a time that coincides with this extended closure, they will forfeit admission to Universal Volcano Bay water theme park without alternative substitution or further compensation. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, all disputes, claims and causes of action against Universal Orlando Resort arising out of or relating to any person’s use of or participation in the Universal Trip Prize or involving Universal Orlando Resort shall be resolved by applying the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws provisions therein, and shall be solely and exclusively brought in state or federal courts within Orange County, Florida. Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys’ fees.
B. Vehicle Prize Conditions:
(1) Polaris Prize Conditions.
The Polaris Inc.® dealership will make arrangements with the winner to take delivery and ownership of the Polaris Prize. The winner must take delivery no later than four weeks after the dealership informs the winner that the Polaris Prize is available for delivery (no later than March 31, 2027), failing which the Polaris Prize will be forfeited. If, despite reasonable efforts to contact a winner of this Polaris Prize, no such contact has been made, the Polaris Prize will be forfeited. To take delivery of the Polaris Prize, the winner is responsible for paying the cost of any license, title and/or registration fees. The dealership will provide the winner with any applicable forms (if any) required in their state of residence. To take delivery of the Polaris Prize, the winner must possess and produce to the applicable dealership any valid operator’s license(s) and proof(s) of insurance which is/are required in the state in which the Polaris Prize winner resides. The winner also must be prepared to transport the Polaris Prize from the dealership to their home, and the winner is solely responsible for any cost(s) and any loss or damage to any person, property or the Polaris Prize related or due to transportation, use or misuse of the Polaris Prize. Winner is solely responsible for all taxes and expenses, registration and license fees, insurance, additional accessories and all other costs incurred in claiming, registering or using the Polaris Prize.
(2) Jeep® Vehicle Prize Conditions.
Without limiting any other provision of these Official Rules, the following conditions apply to the Jeep® Vehicle Prizes. ARV of the Jeep® Vehicle Prize includes freight and handling and excludes tax, title and license charges and is valid as of date of printing of these Official Rules. Any difference between the value stated herein and the value at time of prize redemption will not be awarded in cash or otherwise. Once verified as a winner, Prize Partner will contact winner to facilitate Prize winner receiving and taking delivery of Jeep® Vehicle Prize from the designated authorized Jeep® Brand dealer. Prize winner must take delivery of the Jeep® Vehicle Prize from the designated authorized Jeep® Brand dealer (or winner’s residence if winner lives more than 100 miles from a dealership) within thirty days after the date the Jeep® Vehicle Prize is delivered to such dealer and no later than March 30, 2027, or the Jeep® Vehicle Prize may (in Sponsor’s and/or Prize Partner’s discretion) be automatically forfeited by the Prize winner. Choice of color is subject to availability. All details of the Jeep® Vehicle Prize not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by Prize Partner in its sole discretion. Prize Partner reserves the right to substitute package, trim level, options or model year for any reason in Prize Partner’s sole discretion. Prize winner must be a licensed driver and must present a current valid U.S. driver’s license and proof of insurance prior to taking possession of the Jeep® Vehicle Prize; failure to show same may result in Prize forfeiture. All costs and expenses not specifically stated herein as being awarded are the responsibility of Prize winner, including all associated dealership fees including all destination, delivery, title, license, insurance, registration, upgrades and options not specified herein, and other costs and fees incurred in or associated with claiming, registering, using or owning the Jeep® Vehicle Prize. Except as stated in the manufacturer’s limited warranty for the Jeep® Vehicle Prize, the Jeep® Vehicle Prize includes no warranties, representations or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, including without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Prizes pictured in point-of-sale, online, television and print advertising, promotional packaging and other Game materials are for illustrative purposes only. Actual Jeep® Vehicle Prize may vary from prize pictured. Jeep® is a registered trademark of FCA US LLC. ARV: $45,990. Jeep® Vehicle Prize cannot be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize or exchanged in whole or in part for cash. Winner may be required (at FCA US LLC’s sole and absolute discretion) to sign the delivering Jeep® dealership’s applicable sales agreement confirming (among other things) acceptance of the applicable Jeep® Prize Vehicle.
C. General Prize Terms and Conditions For All Prizes:
Without limiting any other provision of these Official Rules:
- Any and all costs and expenses applicable to the acceptance, possession or use of any prize that are not expressly identified in the applicable prize description in these Official Rules as included as part of that prize are the sole responsibility of the winner of that prize; and
- All taxes (including, without limitation, federal, state and/or local income taxes and/or sales tax) on or connected with any prize, and the reporting consequences thereof, are solely the responsibility of each winner. If required by law, Sponsor and the applicable Prize Partner reserve the right to report the value of any prize received by a winner and to withhold and remit to the appropriate taxing authorities the amount of any taxes due.
- The taxable income reported for a winner will be the prize ARV stated in these Official Rules, regardless of the fact that the prize value may vary (including, without limitation, based on location of a winner and/or the passage of time between the printing of these Official Rules and awarding of the prize). For travel prizes, taxable income reported for a winner will be the actual value of air travel if the actual air travel cost is lower than in the stated ARV for the prize. For a vehicle, the Prize consists of the vehicle itself and not the stated ARV or actual value of the vehicle.
All details, specifications and other restrictions related to any prize that are not expressly set forth in these Official Rules will be determined by Sponsor or Prize Partner, as applicable, and in each’s sole discretion. If, for any reason, a verified prize winner cannot or does not accept a prize as described in these Official Rules, then that prize will be forfeited in its entirety, the prize will not be awarded in the Game and the verified prize winner will not have any claim against the Game Entities or against any other person, firm or corporation in respect of the applicable prize or the Game, or any matter related to the Game. Any difference between the approximate retail value stated in these Official Rules and the actual value of a prize as awarded will not be awarded. No prize may be sold, exchanged, redeemed for cash or otherwise transferred, provided that, notwithstanding any other provision in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right, for any reason and in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute any prize or any component of any prize with a prize or component of equal or greater retail value, including, without limitation, but at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, a cash award.
Rule 10. Verification.
All prize claims and/or prize claim documents (which may include potential winning Game Pieces) are subject to verification by the Redemption Center. Participants should not show or give any potential Instant Win Prize Game Piece to any McDonald’s employee or franchisee. Game Pieces and Game Codes are null and void and will be rejected if Sponsor reasonably suspects or determines (in its sole discretion) they were illegitimately transferred or otherwise not obtained through legitimate channels (e.g., purchased online), as established by and in accordance with these Official Rules. If any part of any Game Piece or Game Code is counterfeited, generated via any parties or means other than the Game Entities, illegible, mutilated or tampered with in any way; if it contains or reflects printing, typographical, mechanical or other errors or discrepancies; or if it comes from other games or promotions, the Game Piece or Game Code contained on any of same, as applicable, will be deemed void. The sole responsibility and liability for any invalid or irregular Game Code or Game Piece (in circumstances where the Participant holding such Game Code or Game Piece is not suspected of fraud, counterfeiting or other misdeed) is replacement with another randomly selected Game Code or Game Piece while supplies last. Replacement shall be the sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. Any actual or attempted participation in excess of the limits stated herein or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules – including, without limitation, by providing multiple sets of or false contact information (e.g., participating under false or assumed names or multiple variations of a name used by a single individual), falsifying any address information (e.g., providing a non-residential address as Participant’s home address or identifying in an address provided any dwelling unit that does not actually exist at such location, such as falsely identifying a single-family residence as a multi-unit dwelling), attempting to claim a prize won by another Participant through a My Game Account that is not your own (except for a parent/legal guardian claiming a prize in place of an Eligible Minor as expressly permitted in these Official Rules), attempting for another person or permitting another person to attempt to claim a prize won through your My Game Account, or sharing a user account or registering for multiple user accounts (whether McDonald’s App accounts or My Game Accounts) – are void and any Participant who engages in or benefits from any such prohibited activity or who Sponsor reasonably suspects may be affiliated or acting in concert with a Participant engaging in such prohibited activity may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, be disqualified, any prize(s) purportedly won forfeited, any and all My Game Accounts associated with such persons closed without further obligation or liability, and all such persons may be prohibited from participating in any future Sponsor promotion. Each Participant acknowledges and agrees that the decisions of Sponsor shall be final, binding and conclusive in all matters relating to the Game, including, without limitation, determinations regarding the validity of Game Pieces, Game Codes and other prize claim documents submitted for verification. Only original Game Pieces with “2026 U.S. Monopoly” artwork distributed in the Territory will be accepted for verification. Any person attempting to forge prize claim documents or defraud McDonald’s or any of the Game Entities (refer to Rule 11) in any way in connection with this Game may be disqualified, forfeit any claim to any purportedly won prize, and/or be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted under the law. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any Participant, the Game Play or prize claim in question will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account for the email address provided at the time of My Game Account creation, provided that person is eligible to participate in this Game. The authorized account holder for an email account shall be the natural person to whom the applicable email address has been assigned by the Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning Entry. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s sole satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible.
Rule 11. General Release And Conditions Of Participation.
Participants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay and misdirection of prize claim documents and are advised to obtain insurance where appropriate. Sponsor, “Prize Partners” (including Audio-Technica U.S., Inc.; Best Buy Stores, LP; Carnival Cruise Line, a division of Carnival Corporation Ltd.; Circle K Stores Inc.; DoorDash, Inc.; Fandango Media, LLC; FCA US, LLC; Funko, LLC; Grubhub VA Inc.; Hilton Domestic Operating Company; PEAG LLC dba JLab; Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex; Low Tech Toy Club LLC dba The Woobles; MEA Mobile Ltd. dba Photo Prints Now; New Era Cap, LLC; Peacock TV, LLC; Polaris Inc.; Pop Mart Americas, Inc.; Scopely, Inc.; The Coca-Cola Company; Uber Technologies, Inc.; Ulta, Inc.; Universal City Development Partners Ltd. d/b/a Universal Orlando Resort), the administrator, the Redemption Center and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, local advertising cooperatives, offers and app developers, digital/advertising/promotion agencies, independent contractors and all of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (all of the above individually and collectively (including the Prize Partners) are “Game Entities”) are not responsible for: (a) incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, late, delayed, lost, damaged, stolen, non-delivered or postage-due submissions of prize claim documents or Game materials, or any other mail, email or other communication, whether caused by Participants, postal or courier service, wireless carriers, Internet Service Providers (“ISP”) or unauthorized human intervention; (b) any damage to a Participant’s or other person’s computer system or Mobile Device which is caused or occasioned by accessing the McDonald’s App, playatmcd.com or any other site or app in any way related to the Game, or by participating or attempting to participate in the Game in any way; (c) technical difficulties or failures of any kind including, but not limited to lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet, Mobile Device or Wireless Service Providers, website, app or other connection, availability or accessibility problems arising in connection with or over the course of the Game; (d) miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, dropped, interrupted, lost, non-delivered or misdirected computer, telephone, Mobile Device, email (including email directed to spam filters), mobile or cable transmissions or hardware or software or program or programming malfunctions, failures or difficulties of any kind including, but not limited to: malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in transmissions or connections, phone lines, network hardware or software, computers, equipment, programming, errors, cable, satellite, cellular tower or ISP or wireless carriers; (e) any technical malfunctions, failures or difficulties, printing errors, color discrepancies, clerical, typographical, artistic/design or other errors in any Game Pieces or Game Codes or printed copy or artwork (including, without limitation, the McDonald’s App and the Game area therein, and any Game-related communications), any prize offering announcement or any prize claim documents; (f) any errors or failures of any kind, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, interruption of power, digital, mobile or technical in nature, or unauthorized human intervention; (g) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by the McDonald’s App, any Participant or third party, tampering, hacking or by any equipment or programming associated with, or utilized in, the Game; or (h) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture or loss of any information. Entries and prize claim documents submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor shall not be responsible to correspond with Participants. By participating in the Game, each Participant hereby releases and agrees to hold the Game Entities harmless from and against any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, property damage, death and bodily injury (whether due to negligence or otherwise), due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Game or any Game-related activity, or the receipt, use or misuse of any prize. Participants waive the right to assert as a cost of winning any prize, any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to claim said prize and any liability and publicity which might arise from claiming or seeking to claim said prize. By submitting any potential prize claim and/or prize claim documents, each verified winner hereby agrees and grants Sponsor the right, but not the obligation, to the use of their name, voice and likeness, along with their address (city and state) and any statements made by or attributed to such winner in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, without notice, review or approval, in perpetuity and throughout the world for advertising, commercial and promotional purposes in connection with the Game and other promotions without further compensation (except where prohibited by law), and releases the Game Entities from any liability with respect thereto.
Rule 12. Disclaimer Of Warranties.
The Sponsor makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize in connection with the Game. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such prizes are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, and the Game Entities hereby disclaim all such warranties, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and/or non-infringement. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply.
Rule 13. Miscellaneous.
A. Disqualification: It is solely the Participant’s responsibility to ensure that they have complied in full with all conditions, limitations and requirements contained in these Official Rules. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if they have not complied with these Official Rules, or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified, may be prohibited from further participation and the prize forfeited. Any attempted participation outside of the Entry Period or attempts to participate in excess of the limits stated herein or otherwise in contravention to these Official Rules (including, without limitation, by (i) providing multiple sets of contact information; (ii) providing false contact information, including without limitation, registering a McDonald’s App account or My Game Account or claiming a prize under a false name or on behalf of any person other than yourself (except for a parent/legal guardian claiming a prize for an Eligible Minor as expressly permitted in these Official Rules) or using a fictitious address (either in that it is not actually Participant’s own residential address or in that it is not a legitimate address at all); (iii) registering for multiple user accounts (whether McDonald’s App account or My Game Account); or (iv) sharing a My Game Account or McDonald’s App account or otherwise consolidating Game Pieces obtained by multiple Participants into a single My Game Account) are void. Any Participant who engages in such prohibited activity, who benefits from another Participant’s actual or attempted prohibited activity or who Sponsor reasonably suspects may be affiliated or acting in concert with a Participant engaging in such prohibited activity, may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion, any prize(s) purportedly won forfeited, any and all My Game Accounts associated with such persons terminated and any or all such persons prohibited from participating in any future Sponsor promotion. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated, third party or other automated or robotic entries or other Game participation/play, in whole or in part, will be accepted. Entries or other Game participation/play made by any individual or any entity other than the Participant and/or originating by any other mechanism, including without limitation commercial sweepstakes subscription or notification and/or entering services, will be declared invalid and disqualified from this Game. Transfer of Game Pieces, Game Codes, prize claims or any other Game element – other than as expressly permitted by and in accordance with these Official Rules – is prohibited and any Participant engaging or attempting to engage in such conduct will be disqualified and any prize(s) won forfeited. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry/play process or the operation of the Game; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, including, without limitation, acting in any way which, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, constitutes an attempt to circumvent any restrictions, limits on play or other requirements in these Official Rules or to obtain a prize by deceptive or fraudulent means; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Game, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys’ fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
B. Force Majeure/Printing and Production Errors: Sponsor reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time, to terminate the Game, in whole or in part, or modify, suspend or extend the Game or Game Materials in any way, if it determines in its sole discretion, that a Game Piece(s), Game Code(s), Game Materials and/or prize claim documents reflect printing or other errors or if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Game is impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures, malfunctions or errors (including, without limitation, computer viruses or other deleterious programs or materials, glitches or printing or production errors) have destroyed or severely undermined the proper play, integrity and/or feasibility of the Game. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Game as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made health epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control, then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, extend or terminate the Game. Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded. If, due to printing, digital, computer programming, hardware or software, or production errors or for any reason, more potential winners in any prize category come forward seeking to claim prizes in excess of the number of each type of prize as set forth in these Official Rules (or multiple potential winners seek to claim a single prize in the Chance Card Game) the winners, or remaining winners, as the case may be, of the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question (or a single winner for the one applicable prize in the Chance Card Game) may be selected in a random drawing from among all persons making purportedly valid claims for such prize(s) in that prize category. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each Participant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances, and no more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
C. Invalidity: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Headings and captions are used in these Official Rules solely for ease of reference and shall not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of these Official Rules or any provision hereof. These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in writing by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor. McDonald’s restaurant employees or franchisees are not authorized to modify or amend these Official Rules.
D. Governing Law: Subject to any provision expressly to the contrary in these Official Rules, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations as between Participant and the Game Entities (except Universal) in connection with the Game shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Illinois including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s or jurisdiction’s laws.
E. Language Discrepancy: In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between the English language version and the Spanish language version of these Official Rules, or any Game Materials, the English version shall prevail, govern and control.
F. Privacy: Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, Participants’ contact information collected by Sponsor in connection with the Game will be used by Sponsor in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Statement.
Rule 14. Arbitration.
By participating in this Game, each Participant agrees that:
(1) any claim, dispute (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) that McDonald’s may have with you, or that you may have with McDonald’s or any member of the McDonald’s system (which, for these purposes, includes the Game Entities excluding Universal), arising from or related to the Game, the awarding or redemption of prizes, or the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, will be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and conducted before a single arbitrator using the AAA’s Consumer Arbitration Rules and, if applicable, its Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules (“Rules and Procedures”);
(2) this arbitration agreement is made pursuant to a transaction involving interstate commerce and shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”), 9 U.S.C. §§ 1-16;
(3) prior to you or McDonald’s initiating arbitration by filing a Demand for Arbitration with the AAA, you and McDonald’s will engage in the informal dispute resolution process outlined in this paragraph. First, the party interested in pursuing a dispute related to the online services must give written notice to the other party of the party’s intent to initiate an informal dispute resolution conference (the “Notice”). The Notice shall contain: (1) the initiating party’s name; (2) the initiating party’s mailing address, email address and phone number; (3) a description of the nature of the basis for the dispute; and (4) the specific relief sought. If you are the initiating party, the Notice must be sent via email to: McDonaldsInformalDisputeResolution@us.mcd.com. Do not use this email address for general inquiries regarding the Game. For general inquiries regarding the Game, please use the Contact Us form found at the end of the Game FAQs in the McDonald’s App from Oct. 6 – Nov. 22, 2026, or at the end of the FAQs at playatmcd.com from Nov. 23, 2026 – Jan. 31, 2027. Second, within 60 days of the non-initiating party’s receipt of the Notice, or at a later date if you and McDonald’s mutually agree to enlarge the 60-day period, the parties shall make a good-faith attempt to resolve their dispute by participating in a live telephone call or videoconference. If you are represented by counsel, your attorney(s) may participate in the dispute resolution conference, but you must be present and must participate in the conference as well. Engaging in this informal dispute resolution process is a prerequisite to commencing arbitration. Any applicable statute of limitations period and all arbitration filing fee deadlines shall be tolled from the date that a fully complete Notice is received by the other party, to and including the date the dispute resolution conference is held;
(4) if, during the informal dispute resolution process described in subpart 3 above, McDonald’s makes a written offer to resolve the parties’ dispute pursuant to which McDonald’s will provide all the relief sought in your Notice, including paying you the full amount of your alleged damages set forth therein, you understand that an Arbitrator will have the right to award arbitration fees against you should the Arbitrator decide that you were unreasonable in continuing to pursue the matter despite McDonald’s offer;
(5) if, following the informal dispute resolution process described in subpart 3 above, either you or McDonald’s decides to file a Demand for Arbitration with the AAA, the demand must include: (1) the name and contact information of the party initiating arbitration; (2) the legal claims being asserted; (3) a detailed explanation of the factual basis for those claims; and (4) a detailed explanation of both the nature and the amount of the relief sought. Filing a demand that does not include the above information may result in the rejection of your Demand for Arbitration;
(6) the arbitration shall be held at a location determined by the AAA under its rules and procedures (provided such location is reasonably convenient to you) or at such other location as may be mutually agreed to by you and McDonald’s or other members of the McDonald’s system;
(7) the arbitrator’s decision shall be based on these terms and any of the other agreements referenced herein that you may have entered into in connection with the online services;
(8) unless doing so would violate applicable law, the arbitrator shall apply Illinois law consistent with the FAA, and applicable statutes of limitations, and shall honor claims of privilege recognized at law;
(9) no claims shall be arbitrated on a class or representative basis as you and McDonald’s hereby waive the right to assert claims in any class or representative action; arbitration will therefore only decide the individual claims of you and McDonald’s; it is agreed that the arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of any other person or party to an arbitration between you and McDonald’s under this provision;
(10) you and McDonald’s empower the arbitrator with the exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability or enforceability of these terms or formation of this contract, including the arbitrability of any dispute and any claim that all or any part of these terms are void or voidable;
(11) in the event that the administrative fees, arbitrator fees and filing fees associated with the arbitration exceed $225 USD, McDonald’s agrees to pay any such administrative, arbitrator and filing fees exceeding $225 on your behalf, subject to ultimate allocation by the arbitrator. If you can demonstrate that the cost of initiating your claims in a court of law would be less than $225, McDonald’s will pay the portion of the administrative, arbitrator and filing fees that exceed the demonstrated cost of initiating your claims in court. In addition, if you can demonstrate that the costs of arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to the costs of litigation, McDonald’s will pay as much of your fees in connection with the arbitration as the arbitrator deems necessary to prevent the arbitration from being cost-prohibitive;
(12) if more than 1,000 arbitration demands are filed against McDonald’s relating to substantially the same business decision or underlying facts by individuals who followed the procedures set forth in subparts 3 and 5 above and are represented by the same counsel or coordinated counsel, and if no substantive ruling has been made in an arbitration between you and McDonald’s relating to that decision or those facts, then both you and McDonald’s have the unilateral right to opt out of this arbitration provision and have your dispute heard in state court in DuPage County, Illinois, or in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois by sending a written notice to the other party; and
(13) with the exception of subparts 9 and 12 above, if any part of this arbitration provision is deemed to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, then the balance of this arbitration provision shall remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with its terms as if the invalid, unenforceable or illegal provision were not contained herein. If, however, either or both of subparts 9 and 12 above are found to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void, and neither McDonald’s nor you shall be entitled to arbitrate their dispute. In such event, you agree to bring any and all claims arising out of or related to these terms or the online services in either the state courts of DuPage County, Illinois, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. If litigation ensues for any reason, both you and McDonald’s agree to waive any right to a trial by jury. Further, notwithstanding any other language in this arbitration provision, neither you nor McDonald’s shall be precluded from seeking remedies in small claims court for disputes or claims within the scope of its jurisdiction. Finally, this arbitration provision is reciprocally binding on all parties, such that both you and McDonald’s are required to arbitrate their claims against one another. Rule 15. Official Rules.
The Official Rules will be available at participating McDonald’s restaurants in the Territory until November 22, 2026. To obtain a copy of the Official Rules, go to playatmcd.com to view or download by June 30, 2027.
Rule 16. Winners List.
A list of Official Winners of prizes with values that exceed twenty-five dollars (“List”) will be posted for viewing and/or downloading at playatmcd.com when the Game is officially over, and the prizes have been verified and awarded. The List will remain available until June 30, 2027.
